Human Health Risk Assessment

In response to community concerns regarding air and water quality in the Cadia District, Amanda Lee, a NSW EPA accredited auditor from SAGE Environmental Services, was commissioned by Cadia in March 2023 to conduct a Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA). The assessment determined the potential risks to human health within the community surrounding Cadia from operating emissions (modelled by January 2022 – February 2023) and environmental sample data collected from a residential drinking water sampling program.

The risk assessment was independently reviewed by Kristi Hanson, a Victorian EPA-accredited auditor, from Senversa.
