At Cadia we offer a wide range of exciting careers and job opportunities including early entry programs, trade and apprenticeship programs and professional pathways for graduates and experienced professionals.
Every year we offer two tertiary scholarships and one diversity scholarship to assist local students in their studies.
The scholarships are $9,000 per year for the maximum recommended course duration, up to a maximum of four years (degrees which run for additional years require approval for the scholarship to be extended).
Scholarships are open to Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), business or other mining industry related degrees.
Our Australian Vacation Program provides a practical and fulfilling 12-week paid work placement over the period of December to February each year for university students currently studying towards the completion of their degree. Students joining the Vacation Program join a team in their field of study and receive invaluable work experience to enrich their student experience and provide an insight to future career paths.
Newmont offers a two-year program for university graduates in the fields of Engineering, Mining, Geotechnical, Electrical and Mechanical, Metallurgy, Geology, Environmental Science, and Commercial and Finance.
The Australian Graduate Program offers graduates the opportunity to gain interesting and relevant work experience in their field over a two-year period, with a rotation between Cadia and our FIFO Telfer operations in Western Australia.
Working as part of a team, graduates participate in exciting real-life projects with leading professionals dedicated to the safe exploration, mining and production of gold that gives you invaluable hands-on professional experience and development.

Our apprenticeships program is run in conjunction with NSW TAFE and runs for four years. We also offer specific Indigenous apprenticeships.
